The Sunshine Award

Hi everyone,
I was awarded this by Natalie from youralmostalice, definitely go check out her blog!  Thank you so much for this prize, I have never been awarded anything on blogger before so this is so exciting!

Rules:
1) Each tagged person must post seven to ten things about themselves.
2) You have to choose and tag 7 people.
3) Go to their blogs and tell them you tagged them.

9 Things About Myself:
1. I cannot live without my watch!  I honestly do not think I could go a day without knowing the time.  I don't really care for expensive watches, just a crappy digital watch is good for me (although a pretty one would be nice).
2. I probably should wear glasses all the time but I don't because I think they make me look bad :P
3. People sometimes think I'm giving them an evil stare but that's just because I squint a lot.
4. I'm constantly stuffing tactics into my mouth.
5. I go to dance with my friends even though I'm crap because I enjoy it.
6. I worry about dying alone (which is so stupid because I'm a young teenager)
7. I'm quite shy but try to talk to people I don't know and push myself out of my comfort zone a little bit to hopefully stop this.
8. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and sometimes get myself into fixed routines, but I hate the idea of having a routined lifestyle so try to break my routines as much as possible.
9. I sometimes try to be rebellious so that I will have interesting stories to tell people when I am older but every time I try to rebel, I fail miserably.

The Blogs I Award:

I hope you guys have liked reading some things about myself.  I wouldn't blame you if you thought I was a pretty retarded person :P
Thank you again to Natalie for nominating me, it made me so happy :)

Have a great day everyone,
Tess xoxo

Favourite Clothing Items

Topshop top
River Island top

Lipsy Dippy Hem skirt
New Look Mint green sheer shirt

Topshop crochet shorts

Today I just wanted to do a quick post of some of my favourite clothing items lately.  I have selected a few items that I really hope you will like and will give you a few ideas when you go shopping :)
I chose the mint green sheer shirt because I love pastels this season and mint green is probably king of the pastels so this shirt really stood out for me.  I think it would definitely complete an outfit and add a feminine touch with the softness of the colour.
The high low/ asymmetric skirt from lipsy could not go amiss in this post.  I love high low skirts and sadly have not purchased one for myself so far as I still cannot find one that has suited me but i particularly like this skirt as it is nude which will make it incredibly wearable and tone down a look that may have otherwise looked a bit too dressed up.
I love the River Island embellished top.  This look is very on trend and it saves you the trouble of having to think about which accessories would complement the look best as its complex patterns finish off the look for itself.
The topshop shirt/ top is so perfect and sweet.  I love the cute collar detailing and the sweet bow.  This also saves you any extra accessorising as it is so cute on its own.
Finally, I really love the topshop shorts, they're so cute, with one half of the shorts denim and the other with crochet detailing on.  I think it could really complete a look.  As so many of the shorts I see today are so plain and sometimes boring, I think this is really nice without being too daring to wear.

Thank you for reading and I hope this has helped :)
P.S sorry for the pretty bad placement of pictures, I'll try to place them better next time :P

Hi everyone,
I have recently reached 50 followers and I want to say thank you so much to everyone for leaving such lovely comments and being so sweet.  I love posting on blogger because everyone on here is so lovely and I have yet to come across someone who is not.  Please keep up the support and sweet comments that you leave to people on here because it makes it such a nice place to blog and that is the reason I love it so much.  You all have made it so enjoyable to blog for you and to share some of my tips and general gibber gabber with.
I am really sorry that I haven't posted in ages.  I have been so busy recently and I know that this isn't a great excuse but I have been and I am really sorry.  Fortunately though, I will have a lot more free time in one week so be sure to look out for some new posts from me by then but for now I will not have any time to post.

Thank you everyone and enjoy your day :)

March and April Favourites

Because it wouldn't be a post
without a picture.....
and this is so purty.

Hi everyone,  it's been two months since my last Favourites post so I thought since it is May 1st today I would write up a quick list of my favourite beauty Favourites over the past couple of months, so lets get to it:
1) My first beauty favourite is Soap and Glory's Righteous Butter.  I love this product, it is one of the loveliest smelling moisturiser I have ever smelt.  Especially when the weather is starting to warm up, you are going to frequently be in need of a good moisturiser and this is the one that I am always reaching for when in need so definitely check it out when you get the chance.
2) My second favourite is a revlon Lip Butter, in the shade Creme Brulee.  I mentioned these lip butters in a previous post and I really like them but this shade has to be my favourite as it is the most wearable with its natural, nude colour.  It looks as if you are not wearing any lipstick but your lips simply look healthier, fuller and nicer.  I think this shade would suit any complexion and another product definitely worth looking out for.
3) My next favourite is another product from the Soap and Glory range: Mist You Madly Fragrant Body Spray.  I absolutely love this fragrance, there are so many great things to say about it but I will try to condense them into a few sentences.  The best way I can describe this fragrance is that it is a mix between a body spray and a perfume but it is one of the loveliest smells, gentle but still pretty distinct.  It is very reasonably priced as well and yet another product all should keep an eye peeled for.
4) My final favourite product is grey eyeliner.  This isn't really a favourite as I am not mentioning a brand however, the favourite is the look that it gives.  The grey eyeliner that I use is Rimmel's soft kohl kajal eye liner pencil in stormy grey.  It is not a great product and I would not recommend it to people because it does not last very long and is not highly pigmented, however I would definitely recommend this look to fair skinned, blonde people in particular.  As a blonde, I cannot wear black eyeliner as it looks too heavy and slightly ridiculous on my face however, grey works perfectly.  From afar, grey looks black but does not have the harsh look that black usually gives.  It beautifully frames blue eyes also and I would recommend wearing it on the waterline if you are going to wear it because it looks best when used in this way.  I may even do a post about this in the near future but for the time being, I highly recommend this look and hope that some of you will try it out :)

I hope that this post has helped and given you all a few ideas of what to buy or what looks to try out,
Thank you :)
