Makeup Brushes

Today i felt like writing a post about the makeup brushes I have in my makeup bag.  So i have 22 in total (but really only 7) that I am going to talk about.
The first brush I ever bought was a superdrug's own foundation brush because I didn't want to use a sponge anymore because I think they're unhygienic. It works really well and was really cheap (about £5) for a good brush.
Next I am going to talk about the ecotools set that my sister bought for my birthday a while ago because I really needed some more brushes other than the foundation brush.  I'm not sure what the set was called, if it even had a name but there were 5 that came in a set.  One was a blush/face powder brush, an angled brush, an eyebrow brush, a concealer brush and a concealer brush.  I absolutely love these brushes.  Not only were they incredibly reasonably priced, retailing at around £15 for FIVE brushes, but they are fantastic quality.  I don't know what it is but I think that you can always tell when brushes are cheap and tacky because they are flimsy and look plastic because they're so shiny when they should just look soft.  But these brushes are dense, soft and overall amazing products.  Not to mention that they come in a really cute and handy push so that they aren't loose in your makeup bag and they're eco-friendly (or at least I think they are :P) which is a huge bonus.  I would definitely recommend these to a friend because you will get so much use out of them!
Next I bought the Urban Decay Good Karma crease brush because ever since I got a really big eyeshadow palette and trying out lots of different looks, I find myself needing more than just an eyeshadow brush to do my eyeshadow so this is really handy.  I can't remember how much it cost, sorry, but it wasn't inexpensive. I think it's worth the money though because it really is such a good brush.  I love using it for my crease, obviously, and also for the inner corners of my eye.  Like the ecotools brushes, it is both dense and soft.  I really like how the brush is quite heavy, and just looks expensive!  There is one little negative point.  Because it is not a retractable brush,  you may be a bit hesitant to leave it just hanging around in your makeup bag where it could get damage so I would just advise you to keep the little pouchy case it comes in.
The final brush set I want to talk about is the 'Fraulein38 brush set', I think that's how it's spelt.  I got this ages ago online because it was really cheap (about £10!) and there were 15 brushes.  I don't really like these brushes and have barely used them.  They look pretty tacky and aren't very good but if you're looking for something cheap then it isn't awful and there are a few brushes that work pretty well.  I like to use the stippling brush that comes in the set because it is actually quite good but that is the only one that I use.

So thank you for reading this, I hope that it has been helpful.  I am planning to buy the 12 mac brush set soon because mac sell amazing quality brushes but I need to save up a bit more before I can buy those.  So hopefully when or if I do buy that set, I will do an updated post about makeup brushes.
Thank you :)

P.S Sorry this has been such a long post.

Exercise

I thought it would be a good idea to do a post about exercise.  It is very important to exercise but also very easy to forget to do so.  I think that a lot of people who think they are overweight or just want to start doing more exercise plan to do it, then do a day of really difficult workouts and then don't exercise again.  So to make it easier, for those of you who want to do more exercise, do small bits at a time.
If you are working a lot or school and homework takes up a lot of your time then maybe try to fit 20 minutes at the weekend to go running or do sit ups or go swimming and so on just so you can get some exercise in.  Make sure that you make this a weekly thing instead of forgetting to do it and braking the cycle.
If you do not think 20 minutes is enough then maybe you should do 20 minutes one week and then gradually spend more time working out each week so it is easier to cope with.
Walking is a great way of losing calories because you almost don't notice that you're doing it at all.  It's a pretty relaxing way to loose weight as well.  If ever you are feeling bored, then go for a walk or do some muscle building by doing sit-ups or press-ups.  This is not just a productive way to spend your time but it puts your mind off eating which a lot of people do out of boredom.

I hope this has been helpful and maybe even encouraged some people to do more exercise.
Thank you :)

Review of No7 50ml Triple Protection Tinted Moisturiser

I only just bought this product one week ago but I think it is definitely worthy of a review.   Despite buying the tinted moisturiser a shade too dark, i do really like it.  I hope that the fact it is slightly too dark makes me look sun kissed or at least that is what I am trying to persuade myself.  Also I am going to keep it because Summer is coming soon and hopefully I will have a tan by then.  But I will probably buy the lighter shade after that.
The reason I bought this was because I find foundations too heavy on my skin, especially full coverage ones.  I also bought it because I had heard so many great reviews on it and they are all true.  It really does look like your wearing no makeup at all and gives you a very healthy glow.  What I really love about this is that you really don't have to use much at all to cover your whole face.  You can apply it as you would moisturiser or you could use a foundation brush which is what I do.  I'm sure it will last a long time and I'm really glad that it will as it is of such high quality.  It makes my skin feel so soft.  It's quality definitely exceeds it's inexpensive price of £12 or £7 with the £5 off No7 voucher which they are always giving out in Boots.
Another thing I love is that it is so much better for my skin then the foundations I have used in the past.  When foundations are cakey, you can almost feel the layer of foundation you have on your face but when you wear this you completely forget you're wearing anything and in my opinion, that is how foundations should be.
I hope this has been helpful,
Thank you :)

A perfect day

This is a completely random topic to be writing about but I guess thats what this blog is about, 'A Little Bit Of Everything'.  Plus, I thought it was quite cute.  I think a lot of the time the weather reflects our mood.  Every time there is a cold, wet, windy day, I, along with many other people, feel pretty miserable.  But as I was coming back from a play practise earlier this morning, the sun was shining and I was feeling pretty happy.
I also think how early you wake up effects your mood for the day.  I like going to bed late, really because I hate going to bed early but I think waking up early is also very important because it means you can enjoy the rest of the day.  I don't know what it is, but I just love being awake early enough to go on a walk when most people are asleep and it's very peaceful.  That sounds pretty boring to some people I guess but waking up early also means you have time to get ready for meeting up with a friend and going shopping or something so you really can only benefit from waking up early.
Also, I think in order to have a nice day, you really just have to be nice to people.  It may sound cheesy but I think people should do at least one random act of kindness everyday because i'm not a big believer in magic but I definitely believe in karma, or at least the thought that if you are nice to people they will return the favour.

So hopefully this has been a helpful guide on how to have a really perfect day.
Thank you :)

Why not try something new?

Hi everyone!

I know it is so late to be talking about new years resolutions but since i've only just started blogging and I really wanted to do a post about this, I thought why not?
My new years resolution was to be a bit more spontaneous, to try new things and to really grab hold of the opportunities available to me.  I wanted to do this because I want to lead a more interesting life and do some extraordinary things that I will remember forever.  Why I wanted to blog about this was because for the very few people that will read this, I wanted to give you this challenge as well.  Obviously you do not have to, I just thought it would be a nice idea.  But for those of you who want to do this, my challenge for you is to try or do something completely different and new to you.  Whether that is sky diving, travelling to somewhere in the world you have never been before or simply trying a food you have never tried before, it does not matter!  I just thought it would be a nice idea to do something different, something you can look back on with fond memories.
It may sound a bit a cheesy and I'm sorry if you found this quite boring but it's something I really wanted to write about because it might just motivate some people to do the things they have always wanted to but never had the courage to actually do.

Thank you :)

Spring makeup

Although Spring may still be a way away, it's one of the things I really look forward to after Christmas is over.
I wanted to think of a beautiful Spring makeup look and since Spring is such a colourful season I decided to incorporate that into my look.
The eyes are the focusing point of this look because, as I believe all eyes are stunning, you want to direct the attention to your eyes.  Anything colourful will work perfectly for this look, as long as it softened with a complimenting crease colour to give more of a 3D affect.  The eyes in the picture are slightly over the top for an everyday look but you get the idea.  This picture is simply off of the internet.  It is not my look but i thought it was so beautiful and wanted to use it to at least give you some idea of look i'm going for.  Because you want this look to look soft, a nude lip would be perfect especially since you don't want to direct any of the attention away from the eyes.  As we hope for it to be sunny this Spring I would advise a tinted moisturiser for this look because i think a full coverage foundation is too cakey for a summery look.  A favourite foundation of yours would work as well but I personally think a tinted moisturiser works best since I don't like my face to be cakey at all and because it's moisturising, it gives you a natural glow which is so beautiful for this look.

I am new to blogging and am open to people's advise and opinions.
Thank you :)
